I am a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Orange County, CA where I work with many different populations and specialize in treating people with eating disorders, self-injury, depression, and borderline personality disorder as well as working with adolescents & young adults. I have experience providing treatment in inpatient, partial hospital (day treatment), residential, and outpatient settings. In my work with people with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses and psychosocial issues, I have found it is extremely important to help one gain an understanding of what purpose the disorder or difficlty is serving and establish healthier coping strategies. My treatment approach is individualized and collaborative and may include psychodynamic, psychoeducational, & cognitive-behavioral therapies. As it may be helpful to some clients to work within a team environment, I am happy to coordinate care as needed with psychiatrists, dietitians, and other treatment providers. I am able to provide Individual, Group, Family, and Couples Therapies. I do not accept insurance at this time but I am able to provide documentation of your visit and payment to be submitted to your insurance company as an out-of-network provider. I also offer sliding scale fees.
